ExyliaLib
ExyliaLib is a shared, high-performance library for Minecraft plugins. You install it once on the server and every plugin that depends on it uses the same copy: one class, one cache, one thread pool — instead of the same code shaded into a dozen jars.
The guiding principle is that the server should do as little work as possible. Where an operation can be expressed as a packet instead of real server state, ExyliaLib prefers the packet. Sidebars, holograms and nametags are drawn client-side, so the server holds no entities for them and nothing of theirs ever reaches the world file.
- Java 21, Paper API 1.21.4
- Runs on Spigot, Paper, Purpur and Folia from a single build
- Nothing is shaded into your plugin — ExyliaLib is a
compileOnlydependency
What it gives your plugins
| Scheduling | One task API that is correct on Bukkit and Folia alike |
| Config | YAML files declared as Java records, generated and upgraded automatically |
| Text | Palette tokens, legacy codes and MiniMessage, parsed once and cached |
| Placeholders | One registry for %placeholders%, with or without PlaceholderAPI |
| Menus & items | Menus, icons and paginated lists written entirely in configuration |
| Effects & sequences | Titles, action bars, boss bars, particles, sounds and fireworks — choreographed from config |
| Scoreboards & holograms | Packet sidebars and display-entity holograms, diffed line by line, refreshed off the main thread |
| Database & Redis | Records in H2, MySQL, MariaDB, PostgreSQL or MongoDB, plus a shared cache across servers |
| Regions & schematics | Spatial index, enter/exit events, and arenas regenerated between matches |
| Bridges | Clans, economy, combat and modified clients (Lunar, Feather) behind a single API |
...and more: cooldowns, skulls, rewards, loot tables, snapshots, teleports, wizards, player input, editors and a coloured console logger.
Every optional integration degrades quietly. If PacketEvents, Apollo, the Feather API or a clan plugin is missing, the calls still work and simply draw nothing.
Installation
Drop ExyliaLib.jar into plugins/. Plugins that depend on it will refuse to load without it. There is nothing to configure to get started.
