Integration
- Remnants' Dueling enchantment is no longer incompatible with other enchantments
What's New
- fleshing-out of existing enchanting table attribute systems
- various QOL features such as enchanting animal armor at the table
- anvil level cost limit
- and more!
Attribute System
- New internal separated formulas for determining the level of enchantments based on the enchanting table's attributes
- this means that having higher attributes will increase the level of enchantments from that attribute, with lower attribute scores doing the inverse
- this is calculated by doubling the score of the specific attribute and then adding 25% of the original base enchanting power
- old version example: you have 15 of any bookshelf, meaning that all selected enchantments use the enchanting power of level 30, plus any modifiers
- new version example: you have 15 arcane bookshelves for a total of 15 mana, meaning that all mana enchantments use an enchanting power of level 30 before applying the 25% boost. Then, a 25% baseline (30 / 4 = 7.5 levels) is applied as an additional baseline to all attributes, including mana
- the goal of this system is to better demonstrate and encourage the use of speccing into different attributes versus just getting lucky and easily acquiring max-level enchantments from a category you've ignored. This will mean you probably want to use specialised bookshelf setups lategame rather than the relatively weak vanilla bookshelf
Changes
- new attribute system described above (attributes still also weight the chance of each enchantment pool as per before - and now also influence the enchanting level power of the enchantment)
- the levels demanded by an anvil will never exceed 99, which acts as a maximum for extreme scenarios
- wolf and horse armor is now properly enchantable at the enchanting table
- elder guardians now correctly have a 1/3 chance of dropping a Tome of Flow
- fixed the
not_on_axesandnot_on_animal_armortags not working - lowered the clickable area of the enchanting table attribute button to more closely match its actual size in-game
- the vanilla bookshelf now only gives +0.25 mana, down from +0.5, in order to encourage using other bookshelves alongside the new systems (and to be consistent with it providing 0.25 to every other attribute)
- the Tome of Power now increases Might by 1, rather than reducing it by 5, to better match the attribute system improvements
- the Tome of Stability now reduces Might by 5 to ensure there is still a way for players to avoid Might enchantments with specific table setups
- books are no longer enchantable at the enchanting table

Changed

- fixed incompatible enchantments appearing on the same item
Changed
- made anvil combining costs equal regardless of which slot each item is placed in
- newly combined enchanted books are now always output at full durability
- fixed enchanted books not combining
- fixed various misc issues with anvil enchanting code
- fixed a ticking entity crash with projectiles
Enchants and Expeditions v2
Redid the entire mod. Tomes, Altars, 30 Blessings / Enchantments / Curses. Just read the main mod page, a changelog is pointless as most of the old mod systems have been completely replaced.
This was a lot of work, but I'm really happy with how it's turned out, and I hope you will be too :)
